What is Technotots computer club?

Technotots is a mobile ICT suite for 3 – 5 year olds with laptops, extensive software and  a wide range of ICT equipment. Our aim is to equip children with all the skills they need to confidently use a computer and provide  a learning experience which is both fun and educational. Our experienced tutors can take care of all your ICT needs. Since 2002, we have been working closely with nurseries and playgroups of all sizes to give children a head start before going on to big school.

Technology is fundamental in everyday life, Technotots can help your children understand and embrace it.


 

 

What do we do at Technotots? 

Our experienced tutors, who are fully CRB checked, give lessons to children in their familiar setting. Groups are kept small so we can give each child the support they need. There is a good balance between teacher directed and child-initiated activities.

The Computer Club

For half an hour, each child has the use of their own laptop allowing them to progress at their own pace. Our tutors encourage children’s budding skills with a lot of practice until they can confidently navigate programmes. We select the best pre-school software, from companies like Sherston, Dorling Kindersley and 2Simple, to complement the topics in your day-to-day lessons.


The Complete ICT Service

Technotots can also provide you with a complete ICT service. The ICT equipment links technology to all areas of the curriculum, with remote control and programmable toys, mp3 recording devices, digital cameras and electronic musical instruments. We even have equipment which can be used outside on nice days. The activities are planned so that each session, which lasts an hour, focuses on different aspects of the EYFS
